Artwork by Margaret von Kaenel exhibited at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center’s 2025 Summer Exhibition, May 21 through August 16, 2025 along with 2 other local artists. Her exhibition wall featured 8 large paintings and 2 smaller portraits.
Constantly striving to improve her skills, Margaret continues to learn from other artists locally, nationally and internationally. She enjoys creating soothing and sometimes whimsical paintings whether landscapes, portraits or abstracts in a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, gilding, charcoal, alcohol-ink and pencil in both large and small format. This collection features works from her painting with the International Decorative Painters SALON, the local Missouri Plein Air Painters Association and from images she has photographed during her travels.
